On 28th November 2019 The Eligent Accelerator was hosting a live pitching competition at Regent Street Cinema where early stage startups from the UK and Europe were pitching their businesses to a panel of serial investors, aiming to raise a total of £2,000,000.
This is the first event of its kind organised in collaboration between Brunel Business School London and Eligent Club.

Richard Wallman, Eligent Club associate and Managing Director at Radiant Studios launched the event with an opening address.
Serial entrepreneur, writer and international speaker Matt Black was a Master of Ceremonies. Andy Brown, radio host, moderated the event.
The Eligent Club was founded by Entrepreneur in Residence of Brunel University London, Slava Baranovskiy, to create an international startup community of tech entrepreneurs to bridge academic knowledge and practical application, from business concept to market.
This pitching event provided unique possibility to get recent tech industry insights, practical knowledge from top experts and professionals in the field of digital tech and ability to network with like-minded entrepreneurs and find exceptional talents to work with.
The startups are from a variety of sectors across industry including e-commerce, IoT, fintech, sustainability and other specialisations. 8 international startups were pitching:
According to judge panel voting, Paysme was awarded for the best investment pitch.
Creol was chosen as the winner of the "Audience Choice Award":
Hungarian startup Freeasy took the second place by public voting.
