Nomishop Oy, a company founded by four young women, is launching a totally new shopping platform this week.

NOMI is a completely new type of a service which recognizes each user’s style and then offers them a unique selection of products, curated for their style. The ability to recognize each customer's style is based on the wide research made by the company. NOMI has been conducting customer research with hundreds of users to determine the best way to recognize user’s styles. Each customer gets access to an entire online store made just for them. The products are brought from different online stores to this one website.

• The selection online is huge these days and to find the products that match your style, you might have to go through thousands of products. It just felt crazy that we all, with very different styles, have to shop from the same selection. The technology that is available today, finally allows us to curate the selection for each customer, says the CEO Nea Harjanne.
  

Harjanne adds that the service will be constantly developed further based on the customers’ feedback

A service which uses machine learning to create personal online stores for customers is globally a fresh concept. The Finnish company is now a pioneer of developing a new way to shop online.

The website is created to be especially mobile-friendly, since the number of purchases made on mobile is growing constantly.

The four-woman-company has earlier been a part of a Finnish Kiuas-Incubator and won a Techstars Startup weekend competition at Tampere, Finland.
